On May 10, 2012 Astone Fitness and The Human Trainer came face to face with CBC’s Dragons. We brought all our weapons with us, including the entire Human Trainer family, our team, and our impenetrable bullet-proof rack. We have finished filming and it is planning to air this Fall Season.

A lot of people are so eager to tone or gain muscle that they forget that rest is just as important as the workout. Muscles lose strength and elasticity when fatigued, so without rest and time to heal, tearing and other major injury can occur.

FIBO Germany 2012 Recap

Spring is a great time to take a visit to your local farmers’ market. This is the time of year where much of your produce starts to be locally grown, which means fresher and better fruits and veggies!

Some Spring Vegetables are: asparagus, spinach, chives, scallions, lettuce, artichokes, avocados, carrots, fava beans, fennel, peas and radishes.

Spring vegetables provide some of the highest levels of vitamin K, iron, and phytonutrients.
